a bit of grace

The random musings of Kate Grace

Thank you to all 22,000 of ya!

Sunday and Monday were HUGE for both myself and Burden of the Soul. After months of very slowly gaining one reader at a time, over 22,000 readers came out of the woodwork and downloaded the Kindle edition of Burden of the Soul for free during a promotional period.

Just wanted to send out a really big thank you to all of you who have supported the book and are new to the club! Remember to let us know what you think of it when you’re done. It’s a different publishing world now, resembling more of an “American Idol” structure where the readers (viewers) are the new gatekeepers that choose what works succeed, and which flop. Remember to spread the word and share reviews on the Amazon page or Goodreads page. Share the link on Facebook and let your friends know!

I can’t wait to hear what you guys think!

I am reading Burden of the Soul right now, and I’m extremely impressed. You have captured so well the young person’s teenage angst, particularly in the light of losing her mother in such a terrible way, but also you’ve captured the fact that she is indeed a whole lot more than a “normal” teenager. It’s a real page turner and I hope you will get the recognition you deserve!
