YES. The second book in this series (thus far untitled) will be ready to hit your eager little palms later this year. There are four books total in this series definitely, or will be. Oh the BURDEN (get it?) of being one of the first to discover a great new read. But what an honor as well… each of you is helping me build this. Your feedback and reviews both inspire me and challenge me to be better.
I promise there will be more, and the story will be resolved as much as real life allows for each of us. (which means sometimes not… those the breaks, sweetheart!) But yes… there are more coming. I do know how this story ends, and one day you will too.
All in good time. But for now, thank you for sticking with me and these characters. I promise you it will be worth it.

loved the book. found the characters engaging and entering my thoughts when I wasn’t reading. I was disappointed in the end, I felt there were too many loose ends, but I am relieved to learn there is more to come. 🙂 Amy
Thank you so much for your comment, Amy! And the truth is… I think i went about the first book wrong. Meaning My creative mind is engrossed with this digital landscape, and this series is one that can really only be told here, yet I tried to apply the rules of traditional publishing to the first book and I think that’s where things are leaving readers unhappy, because my means misled them. We’re looking to experiment a bit more with the way we distribute digitally so it fits more appropriately to the means. That’s not to say everyone will get the answers they want in the next book or at any point before the end. But it does mean we’re now going to approach this in a way that applies a digital framework to a digital distribution so you all get more to appease the reader’s appetite in less amount of time. Be patient with us for now! We’re going to fix this and get more of the story in your hands more quickly!

More are on their way and you will definitely know what happens to Clara and everyone along the way. We’re going to shake up our digital distributing a bit to give you guys content more quickly. In the meantime, help us by going to Amazon or Goodreads and letting other readers know what you thought!
Loved it so much and didn’t want it to end! I think like a lot of readers I ‘expected’ more closure than I got – however – I was relieved to know that I would be finding out what happens to Clara next! For me, for a YA book, that’s fairly amazing because with three kids (the youngest 14 mos) it’s got to be great to keep my attention when I have a spare moment to give it to reading.

i just finished Burden of the Soul last night after letting it sit in my carousel for a couple of weeks. I should have read it sooner! I was engrossed to the point I was upset with myself for falling asleep at about 3:00 in the morning the first night I started reading. You did a wonderful job of describing everything. Textures, colors, emotions. The ending threw me a bit and I was terrified to not find a sequel already on amazon. i can’t wait for the next chapter in Clara’s journey.

I read this book back in February, I absolutely loved it!!! I love the characters, the story line, and I love the fact that its not so far out there that it could actually be possible! Is there a date yet as to when the next book will be out?
No official date as of yet, but I can say it will be late this year, around the holidays. We’re going to make sure though, going forward, no more than six months passes between each book. We’re so thankful all of you are on this journey with us!
I loved this book and have told all my friends about it! But you know that! I cherish my signed copy! I was excited to see that my cousin, who loved the feel of a book in her hand has joined me by downloading the book today! What a way to break in a new kindle!!! Can’t wait to read the next books! I can’t tell you how much it means to all of us, and just how hot the fire is all of your support has lit under my bum! And tell your cousin that Kindle is going to come in handy! We’ll be taking a new approach moving forward which is dependent on digital. We may even cut out paperbacks until the series is complete. Let me know what she thinks when she’s finished!
Wow this book is a wonderful read so far. I love it. I have about 120 plus pages left I will either finish it tonight or tomorrow but when will the rest of the series be available. I hope soon. I feel like I am Clare & I loved the Aunt Grace.
